EC Adventures began in 2008 after head coach Austin Johnson, hung up his racing skis after 18 dedicated years of racing being his main focus. Born and raised in Michigan, he moved to Colorado to train and eventually went on to race around the world, including Hintertux, Austria. It's the meca of skiing, with second to none training venues and snow conditions - you live and breath skiing while in Hintertux. Morgan Siemer and Ed Johnson were some of the first coaches as well on the trip. It began as a small group of very dedicated athletes that wanted to take their ski racing to the next level, while also being able to experience the ski racing culture that Europe has to offer. The camp size has changed, our goal and vision has not: provide a ski racing camp that allows athletes to reach their fullest potential while being coached and guided by coaches that are experienced, passionate, and dedicated to the sport.

While the coaches main focus of the race camp is to get our athletes back on snow and ready for the race season, a lot of parents and family members join and create their own memories and adventures while in Europe.
